Lobeau vom Martinhaus

Lobeau, who we have come to call Rupfen, is a 6 year old Sable German Shepherd. His parents were imported to the United States from Germany. Looking back in his bloodline, you will see that a good majority of his bloodline is from East Germany. After WWII and the building of the Berlin wall, East Germany took the known German Shepherd and perfected it. The end results were dogs that look like Lobeau. They are shorter in stracture, weigh a bit less and have large heads. They also have thicker coats due to the brutal winters that East Germany commonly recieves. These lines were bred with more drive for protection and could work longer than other German Shephers of the past. As a result, many of the dogs have become world champion protection dogs as seen by the videos below. Lobeau's parents, Satan Vom Hochzillertal and 

Daisy Vom Grossen S, have produced many dogs for various Law Enforcement agencies such as the St Pau Police department in St. Paul, MN and here in Osage County, OK. Like his parents, Lobeua has worked security for the last 4 years.
